contemplato
It always says "Connecting to peers", but there was one time wherein it was actually downloading. I recently moved in to a dorm which has free Wi-Fi. The internet speed is decent but I'm not sure why I cannot download? If I can, the next time I start uTorrent, it won't download again.Maybe it has something to do with my dorm's router blocking P2P sharing? Is there any work around for this? I also read about VPN (which I'm not sure what it is).Sorry for the very basic question. But this is the first time I encountered this problem. Thanks for any help!! joval
I saw another post that hinted at this problem, and the solution was to restart the program. One of the things I noticed was that the program was trying to download piece zero over and over again without finishing, as if the CRC was wrong, and it needed to re-download. contemplato
Thanks for the reply. So it's not like the router can block or disable torrent downloads, right?
ciaobaby
as if the CRC was wrong, and it needed to re-download.It's a hashsum signature not a CRC, and did you check the 'wasted' count and/or the hash err count?
