Can't find file i just downloaded.

Hi,I had to reinstall utorrent and i forgot to set the download directory so it was left blank.

So when i downloaded this file which was 12gig,i cannot find it anywhere.

I know it's somewhere on my c drive because hard drive size was 262gig before and now

it's 250gig.

So far i've looked in pictures/downloads/documents/music/and video folders,i've also checked

users/appdata/roaming/utorrent but not a peep anywhere.

Right-click the torrent in uTorrent and open file location.

So you deleted the downloaded file as well?

No just the torrent in appdater,file is still on the c drive somewhere because i can

see there's 12gig missing off my hard drive which is the same size as the video file

i can't find.

If it is a video file of that size, I would go and use the search utility and tell it to find files over, say, 11 GB. That should not take too long, huh?

I just tried your "Or re-add the torrent and locate it that way." I blanked off the directory in pref

and set to being greyed out,i then downloaded the same video file and it started checking i knew

then it was still on the c/drive.

I then checked download folder and there it was,So i deleted it and got my 12 gig back on the  HD.
