Lupinite
Windows 7, utorrent 3.4.1. the most recent nightly and the recent beta. I've installed, deleted, reinstalled and tried all of these. I even tried other torrent clients, and nothing works. Regardless of whether I'm connected to the internet or not, no torrent client works. They all install fine, then pop up, and instantly crash. I don't think it even fully loads before crashing. This has been going for about 3, maybe 4 weeks. I'm completely unsure what the problem is. Any help offered would be fantastic. DreadWingKnight
Sounds like you have hostile software or malware on your computer preventing them from launching.

neconnn
Can you check your Windows application log for events after torrent client crash? P.S. google "antimalware" there are a lot of good free antimalware software if you need it.
Lupinite
I checked my event viewer when utorrent crashed as suggested, thanks for that by the way, and this was what was in the detailed area._____________________50 5 BEX Not available 0 uTorrent.exe 3.4.1.30888 5351b116 scrchpg.dll_unloaded 0.0.0.0 4c2cd191 6d6e8f0b c0000005 00000008 C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp\WER96CB.tmp.WERInternalMetadata.xml C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WER\ReportArchive\AppCrash_uTorrent.exe_ffffc27c3a424eb4bc594462a914dcf1534f7c_0b3a434f 0 a13b4cbf-ca8b-11e3-adb0-c80aa99dd93c 0____________________________It seems like I'm missing something or so it says, I'm unsure what to do at this point. I installed some antimalware and that's doing a good job of sorting and deleting stuff, but it seems to be unrelated.
neconnn
Are you using Kasperski AV? The "Fault Module name" in your crash reports points at a file from the Kaspersky Antivirus suite. Other Windows users recommended to uninstall, restart and then reinstall Kaspersky to ensure this file is the latest and not manipulated. See here: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-system/multiple-programs-keep-crashing/294b875f-dc59-4e26-a119-9cf29f8f6f01 If you are using Kasperski, try to exclude utorrent from scanning. If problems persist try to uninstall Kasperski, restart PC and test again. If that helps, consider other antivirus or some solution from kasperski. Lupinite
Thanks Neconnn. Your advice worked, uninstalled Kaspersky and utorrent started up quick fast, now i just gotta reinstall it and hope it doesn't bother utorrent again. I'll make sure to add it to my exclusion list.Once again thank you.
