pr0xZen
HW:Intel DN2820FYKH4GB Kingston "thoroughly tested" DDR3L 1066MHz RAMKingston SSDNow V300 120GB SSDZyXEL NSA-325v2 2x4GB (JBOD) NASGbit wired LAN.Sys: Windows 8.1 pro, most recent windowse update(s).All system updates previous to uTorrent beta update in topic, done at "reboot and test intervals" to exclude any apparent driver issues (due to a reported "driver bug", later reported and confirmed a config error). I always use the most recent uTorrent "client announced" Beta. After update, uTorrent consumes ~50 to ~80 system resources, ~600MB of RAM and anything from 5 to ~300Mbps network bandwith.Previous "normal usage: 5-12% CPU, ~25-100MB of RAM, max 25Mbps network bandwith. This example is brought using the same single torrent (magnet) download before and after uTorrent update. Fairly similar connections and transfer rate with both instances - and mostly the exact same seeds/peers: Both giver ~30 minutes to "stabilize"."torrent" connectivity:Aprox. 15/1.3 Mbit connection.Seeds: 25, Peers: ~100. Dl: ~270kB/s. Overhead: 8kBps,Up: 25 kBps, overhead: 15 kbps. The only obvious triggering altercation was updating to recent Beta. Reports are not false, everything instantly went "sluggish" as a 486, right after the beta update (and following file hash check to resume single file download). I smell a major leak. Please advice.
