AmyGrrl
I know that everyone says to disable it because of weak support for it in the router, but how do you know if your router is good or not. I currently have Linksys WRT54G v1.1 with HyperWRT/Thibor15c flashed to it. Does this 3rd party firmware have goood UPnP support. Is it possible to do port forwarding and have UPnP on or will they interfere with each other. I have no problem disabling UPnP, I'd just like to keep it on for other apps that use it. But if its going to affect my speeds I will turn it off.
Ultima
You generally don't have to disable UPnP on Linksys WRT54G, mostly on D-Link routers =T
Switeck
If you're doing port-forwarding in µTorrent you can disable UPnP in µTorrent without needing to disable UPnP on your router. Having both enabled in µTorrent might cause conflicts...I'm not sure on that though.
Firon
UPnP won't cause problems on WRT54s.
