Beasly Posted September 18, 2014 Report Share Posted September 18, 2014 Although setting all false is a very good option adding ip addresses in the HOSTS file or firewall helps prevents most of the setting resets to the point of no return. This is probably why I have never had the disturbing sync ad mentioned in other topics. Before you do that: Although you shouldn't have to do this in the first place, did you: a) Try Beasly's (suggestion of blocking in hosts file solution at post #27?b ) rafi's settings.dat file found in his signature? Type offers in the filter box.Adjust the values by clicking on them (press Set button after deleting/adjusting a digit/text value or setting false option) to look like this, and that stupid sync ad should go.: Thanks Mikey did the trick no more Sync Ad...
