Crash caused by url of created torrents

When I create a torrent, I receive a tinyurl link that I can share with people.

If someone clicks on that link, it then causes utorrent to crash on my pc. Every time.

 

If I instead give out the magnet link directly, I don't have this problem.

What could be causing this?

tinyurl to magnet translation is not something you should be doing.

Not exactly sure what you mean by that.

But I'm saying if I give someone the url that utorrent gives to me, then its crashing.

Are you giving them the full magnet url?

I am saying to begin with, I gave them the tinyurl link. The one that utorrent GIVES TO ME.

It links them to a website where they can click a link to download the torrent.

When they click this, it causes my pc to crash.

 

That webpage has ANOTHER link on it to a magnet link. If I give this to someone, they can download from me without crashing my pc.

And they're trying to add torrent from url?

Simply clicking on the url causes it.

 

So for example, if I drag and drop a file in utorrent,

it then pops up a box with a url like: http://tinyurl.com/mwpyxez   (this is fake to prevent people crashing me)

When visiting this website address, as soon as the page loads (you dont even have to click anything on the page), it causes utorrent to crash. This even happens if I visit the url myself. And of course if anyone else visits it too.

 

The following error comes up in utorrent.
