ghelh01
Hi, I downloaded a file (a mp4 video) through a torrent containg several files . Then I deleted (Shift + Delete) that file and tried to download other files from the same torrent , but UTorrent first run checking process and instantly found the deleted file and it appeared again at the download folder within 1,2 seconds (the size is more than 300mb and normal download time is far longer than that) . the file is completely intact .I removed (file + data) the whole torrent and add it again and tried to download new files . again , the deleted file appeared . It seems to me that UTorrent has saved a copy of file on an unknown destination or somehow recreates the file .How can I delete the file permanently ? any suggestion would be appreciated . DreadWingKnight
If you want a file to disappear completely, you need to cryptographically erase it.
