guandra
Lately the files I've been downloading show a message saying "Piece #### Failed Hash Check" and it simple keeps re-downloading and never finishing the torrent. What can I do? Is there a way to turn off the Hash Check so the torrent can actually finish? Thanks.
Lexxington
No, you can't turn it off. It's needed to prevent your download from being corrupted. Is it just one piece or lots of different pieces that fail? Also, check out the FAQs regarding DLink routers if you're using one.Can you PM me the link(s) for the problem torrent(s) please? I'm doing some tests regarding this particular problem.TIA
Switeck
If you can figure out which peers are giving you bad chunks, you can block them using ipfilter.dat -- and hopefully you can complete the download then.
