francis_11
I didn't have any issues with utorrent having ads but since the news animated ads came along utorrent's cpu usage have jumped to 19-22% even if it's sitting idle on the system tray. This really annoys me as it is wasting resource. It doesn't really start until I open utorrent and the ad loads up and the cpu usage spikes and stays that way. What can I do about this? I've tried every version of the past month and the result is still the same.

taim
I just removed Flash from my computer to solve this problem, I now won't recommend others to do that unless they understand her to revert it..

taim
What do you meam by "removed Flash"?Sorry I meant I moved it(no uninstaller in Windows 8.1) so uTorrent's Flash ads fallback to static versions of the ads. I don't mind the ads just mind the Flash ads.
SaNdMaN82
Yep, I have a similar issue... CPU usage can go up to 25%...Its all about the ads... And also, there's a negative effect on the ram as well... Utorrent is not as tiny as it was in previous versions...My current instance is using over 100mb RAM...Enviado desde mi XT1058 usando Tapatalk
