ersatz
Hi guys,Since I moved another campus I can't dl torrents anymore. I guess it's because of their proxy. I set up firefox, msn and so on, and now I can run all of my softs properly - except utorrent I've no idea if I can set smth or it is campus' proxy which blocked bittorrent protocol port. Do you guys got an idea? Here are the error msg I gotwith utorrent (test if port is fowarded properly function) :Welcome to the µTorrent Port Checker.A test will be performed on your computer to check if the specified port is opened.Checking port 40530 on 193.52.24.125...Warning! Port 40530 can not be checked. Your browser is setup to connect through a proxy. This script will not work through proxied connections. Please see www.portforward.com for more information if you need to map a port. And the logger says :[15:22:22] Error opening Windows firewall: 0x80040154[15:22:24] Unable to map UPnP port to 10.101.0.12:40530If I remember correctly, I managed to dl a file about 10 mega 1 month ago. Took me ages, but now I even can't dl 1kb So I thank in advance for every kind of ideas or suggestions++

Switeck
Connecting to a proxy outside the campus and routing ALL BitTorrent traffic through it might work, but you'd have to use almost dial-up settings. Plus, you'd be considered firewalled still -- so you could only download+upload from not-firewalled peers and seeds.
