flamaest
I have a few RSS feeds which work OK with the latest version of utorrent, but many RSS feeds like these below, do not work at all.Canky Geeks:http://rssnewsapps.ziffdavis.com/audioblogs/crankygeeks/cg.h.264.xmldigital life TVhttp://rssnewsapps.ziffdavis.com/audioblogs/DLTV.H.264.xmldiggnationhttp://revision3.com/diggnation/feed/small.mov.torrent.xmlcommandNetc etc etc...Help,Fabian. Ultima
http://www.utorrent.com/rsstutorial.phpSome feeds do not give direct links to the .torrent files (most notably Mininova) and as such won't work
flamaest
This makes sense for the 1st two feeds posted here. However, diggnation provides direct links to the torrents in the above feed. Coudl there be a diffrent reason, I have read cookies could be the problem.Thanks,F.
Ultima
The diggnation one doesn't provide it in the <link></link> tags. That's where it has to be, not in an enclosure.
Firon
It should work in an enclosure actually. Have you tried the latest latest beta?
Ultima
Hm, I didn't test it at the time, just took a look at the source. Anyway, plugging it in the RSS downloader reveals that the diggnation feed does indeed work =P
flamaest
Geekdrome seem to have the same format as diggnation and it works with geekdrome but not with diggnation. I am running the latest 1.6GeekDrome:http://revision3.com/geekdrome/feed/small.m4v.torrent.xmlDigg:http://revision3.com/diggnation/feed/small.mov.torrent.xmlCan you post a screen shot of you working diggnation RSS setting page ??I don;t see how my default config with 15 RSS feeds can work with some and not with others.. Ultima
Erm, I had thought you meant it wouldn't load the feed... Turns out double-clicking on an item on the Releases tab doesn't work with the DiggNation one but does with the GeekDrome one.
flamaest
Can you post your settings for your utorrent RSS feed settings for DiggNation ? Thanx,F.
Ultima
Eh? I said the feed can be parsed, but the torrent won't load properly... or do you still want it?DiggNation|http://revision3.com/diggnation/feed/small.mov.torrent.xmlIs that what you want...? flamaest
That's very helpful, now can someone figure out why it doesn't work?F.
Ultima
The problem lies with the fact that the <title></title> tag has a newline in it.
flamaest
Thank you, I will try and pass this along to diggnation.

Ultima
Well, I mentioned it to ludde. Looks like he fixed it, as he said "ok"
flamaest
I have sent the request to diggnation, not sure if anyone will get the messge, they must be swamped. You mentioned ludde fixed "it".. can you be more specific? Does utorrent now support the diggnation "newline" issue? Is this a beta version of utorrent I should be getting? Thanks again for your help,Fabian. Ultima
ludde says he thinks he fixed the newline bug, as µTorrent wasn't parsing it properly. The feed wasn't at fault, or at least it didn't fail the RSS validation because of the newline. No, there's no beta at the moment.Edit:[15:14:18] [ultima] so ludde, you fixed the newline thing right? (just for confirmation, as the person reporting this is asking)[15:14:37] [ludde3] i think i fixed it[15:15:00] [ultima] alright[15:16:10] [ludde3] yeah it works now[15:16:22] [ultima] cool, thanks
