importing download torrents after reinstall

Hi everybody,

i am experiencing problem to reimport the torrent after format my pc and reinstall uTorrent.

 

Before i format the PC, i back up the "%appdata%/uTorrent" folder, and after the new installation of uTorrent, i copy the folder to the same directory.

But when i open the program there is no torrent at all.

 

Any help will be appreciated!

When you copy the folder over, is uTorrent running?

Are you going to the same path expanded out or are you going to %appdata%\utorrent on both?

Hi, when i paste the folder uTorrent is not running.

How are you putting the uTorrent files in the "same folder"?

in my case the data is located in:

C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application data\uTorrent

so when i back up the data i save all the uTorrent folder contant, and when i reinstall uTorrent i paste the content in the uTorrent folder (subscibing the files when prompt)
