Strange speed process

First of all I used the speedguide to determine my network speed.

( I use µtorrent on my laptop via wlan) My firewall also doesn't block the programm and the port.

OS is vista, 2 torrents running:

what could be the problem?

What are your connection's rated speeds?

What settings are you using in uTorrent?

Does that torrent/s have many peers/seeds?

Those download peaks about 2-3 every 5 minutes looks just like what happens when I have upload slots set to 1 per torrent. uTorrent doesn't keep the optimistic unchoke upload slot active all the time. And even when it does keep it active, the other side isn't requesting every second -- so more than 25% of the time upload speed is 0 even if I'm connected to many peers.

The speed test results are:

Download : ~1100 kb/s

Upload: ~ 200 kb/s

I chose connection type "xx/1Mbit " in µtorrent. I've tried lower settings but they were worse.

i left everything else on default, so upload slots are set to 6.

Those speed tests in kilobits/second?

You set your connection's upload speed to be FIVE TIMES your connection's rated speed.

even if i set the connection speed of µTorrent to 192 , the downloadspeed of the torrent keeps the same(~25kb/s 25 seeder 28 leechers from (900/ 1600 available), only the upload speed goes down from like 50 kb/s to 20

The 2 screenshots show upload speeds at least briefly reaching the upload max.

the screenshot is made with 2 parallel downloads. (2*50 = 100)

with 192kb/s settings only 1 is active

You probably have at least 800 kilobits/second upload, but BOTH upload and download speeds are being crippled...by something.

If it's not your ISP throttling/disrupting uTorrent, then it's possibly other BitTorrent clients using very bad settings. (Both is possible too...)
