utorrent keeps crashing my computer

hi i need help .... up until now utorrent has been working fine ... but now it seems to just keep crashing after a random amount of time .. i tried bittorrent and bitcomet, and i still get the same thing ... i was downloading fine just a few weeks ago and now i dont know whats wrong ... it'll crash my whole computer and restart it, but will never fully restart windows .. it'll just go to a black screen and stay there ... my computer runs fine with utorrent on so im assuming that it is the problem .. im a complete noob at all this stuff so i really need help ... i dont know what you need so if you could let me know what to do and how to do it or how to give you info that'd be greatly appreciated .. thanks

With Process Explorer DONT forget to select utorrent.exe in the list and enable DLL mode (ctrl+d).

Wireless dongles aren't the most stable. Be sure there aren't updated drivers.

Try using a wired adapter and see if your crashes go away.

Well, it appears that your wireless adapter is the cause for the system crash. You can try to find updated drivers for it. You may need to get a different adapter altogether, preferably something not USB.

Because the drivers for USB wireless devices tend to be horribly broken and can't take much traffic before crashing.

CHeck the website of the manufacturer for your USB device.

i limited the number of active downloads to 5 and it didnt crash last night .... any suggestions on the maximum number of downloads and connections? i have bell sympatico high speed .. dunnno how fast that is
