Gantal
i like uTorrent but i think theres one thing thats missing to make it truly perfectionand that is to make it opensource. it doesnt need to be under the GPL but i think the source needs to be open. Is this ever going to happen? or am i just daydreaming.

Firon
ludde doesn't want clones or hacks for the client, simple as that.
Gantal
ludde doesn't want clones or hacks for the client, simple as that.just because its source is closed doesnt mean that its unpossible to make clones, hacks etc. in my opinion if software of this nature is closed source it only gives a suspicion to it will screw its users later on.screw case could be working with anti p2p companies. boo
well, it's way more harder for people to make clones if µTorrent is closed source.Plus other BT clients also have closed source, like BitComet for example.
Sanchez
Give a compelling argument for making it open source and we'll think about it.
