The browse button for the <input type='file'> element on the Add Torrent box can't be clicked on in IE9 (works fine in IE7/8 standards mode). Tabbing to the browse button and hitting space does work, however.

System tray notifications no longer work either.

Every item excluding custom labels is missing a space before the item count in the category list in this new version.

It actually worked that way in 0.370 and previous versions. Also, when pressing the OK button, it would become 'disabled' until it finished uploading/downloading the torrent file.

After browsing to a torrent to upload or copy/pasting in a URL, you can no longer hit enter to effectively press OK anymore (in IE8 at least).

Helps to not skip over the word remove.

Duplicate peer issue is still present.

Column resizing doesn't seem to work in IE8. Also seem to be getting: [13:53:59] JS error: [1] 'metricX' is undefined in the logger tab.

I personally find the new icons to be much better than the previous ones - more sleek and less childish ().

Shouldn't the File menu have icons (the ones in the toolbar) next to each option? The minimize to tray option didn't seem to carry over from the previous 2.0 build.

1.8.5 now notifies you that a new build (2.0 build 17427) is out. Guessing 2.0 has been rolled out as a 'new' beta build?

Is it possible to change the way views are handled? If user A changes the sorting to Size while user B had it sorted by Name, eventually user B's view will be sorted by Size. Cookie-based views maybe?

Switeck, it's a known issue. Setting a high net.max_halfopen fixes the slow peer connection issue. Hopefully that and the HTTPS issue will be fixed in the next version (1.8.6?).

Couple things: Canceling a file download part way through still shows uTorrent locally uploading (to myself via Falcon).. even minutes after I've stopped. The Bittorrent icon shows up next to a random label.

You can't click the "I accept the Licence Agreement [...]" label in the installer to (un)check the option. A new instance of explorer.exe is still opened when double clicking on a torrent (with the default action set to open containing folder) even if the option isn't checked in Explorer.

My observations over the last couple dozen minutes: Unchecking the option to install uTorrent during the setup disables the Additional Settings panel on the next step, even though those options can be enabled later when you run uTorrent without installing it. The disabled menu buttons seem to have a 3D border that detracts from the asthetic appeal. Maybe remove that border? Right clicking on the Remove button while its disabled shows the context menu and makes the Remove button enable itself for a small duration. The uTorrent help file still shows uTorrent as being v1.8.0. uTorrent 1.8.3 build 15619 shows 15772 in the help file. The help icon in the Preferences form seems to be resized poorly. White pixels around the edge are visible. The dialog box thats visible when you hit Help -> Show Statistics has a lot of empty space on the right (in Windows 7 at least). When disabled, the Skip Files label in the Create New Torrent dialog has a different font than when enabled. Creating a new torrent (30MB) takes a very long time (10 seconds). CPU usage was very low (~2%) and never maxed out a single physical core, even though it should have considering the HDD is not the bottleneck. When a torrent is made of a certain folder, and that folder is subsequently removed, trying to create a torrent of that folder (by just opening the Create New Torrent dialog) leaves the Skip Files label and text box disabled. Under the Seed While panel in the Torrent Properties dialog, the font for the text that is disabled when the checkbox is unchecked is different than when it is enabled. The Torrent Properties dialog shows redundant characters (the pipe symbol) in the title when multiple torrents were seleted. The Add Torrent from URL dialog box's sole label should say ".torrent file", not just ".torrent." The checkboxes in the UI Settings -> Display Options panel are several pixels lower than those in the Directories -> Location of Downloaded Files and BitTorrent -> Basic BitTorrent Features.

Regardless of whether that setting is checked or not, it spawns a new process. For that reason, and the fact that when I write a test program that does the same thing it works correctly, I want to say its a µT bug.

Any chance of changing the behavior of Open Containing Folder to use the current instance of explorer.exe and not open a new one? As a side observation, in 64-bit Vista, a 32-bit explorer process is opened. In 64-bit Windows 7, a 64-bit instance of explorer is started.

My mistake fowl, guess the lack of sleep caught up with me. I meant to say 'even with PEX disabled.'

It seems as if all IPv6 peers have the flag X, even with PEX disabled. Edit: PEX+no sleep=DHT :x

Directrix: No way to change the webui theme I presume?

As in, in µTorrent, the default color for seeding torrents is green, while downloading ones are blue. Its switched in the webui.

Are the colors of the downloading/seeding icons supposed to be switched?
