Ryrynz Posted February 14, 2016 Report Posted February 14, 2016 Oftentimes the NAS will go to sleep, rather than waiting for the data to become available when the HDD spins up utorrent will simply mark the files as not being available.
DreadWingKnight Posted February 14, 2016 Report Posted February 14, 2016 That is one of the many reasons we recommend either running the torrent client directly on the nas or torrenting to a local drive and moving to the nas when seeding is done
Ryrynz Posted February 16, 2016 Author Report Posted February 16, 2016 Yeah I've seen your posts regarding this, what are the chances of getting this situation supported? Can uTorrent just not simply retry after five or ten seconds? I'll likely have to switch clients if this isn't going to be supported any time soon, surely it's a simple improvement. Could you pass it along?
DreadWingKnight Posted February 17, 2016 Report Posted February 17, 2016 Considering what exactly the underlying problems actually are, I doubt it will be able to be fixed even with the 5-10 second retry delay.
