jakeblake
Is there a way to mute the ads? They play in the background when utorrent is minimized to the tray.
DreadWingKnight
You have a time of day and screenshots for when the ads are coming through?
jakeblake
There is no mute button on the ads. Here is a screen shot. the time is 12:15am ET 3-22-2016. I understand you need the ads to make profits and have no problem with them except they interrupt everything else I'm doing.
rafi
No need for "close" button... Just disable the ("offers" ) in the settings, unless you like ads. Use my settings (sig) if you don't know how&where...
jakeblake
I don't think you can disable the ads in utorrent and there is no "offers" setting anywhere.

And you are saying this before or after you've tested with my settings file (@sig)?.........................??????????????
jakeblake
Actually I didn't see your file in your sig. My bad. Where would I place this file after I edit it?
rafi
You don`t `edit it`. You back up your current settings.dat/.old snd rename it to settings.dat instead. This is in the lication of your uT exe. Then yiu change you pathes etc in preferences.
