Run this program when ALL torrents have finished

Hi,

currently, in "µTorrent" there is the option "Run this program when a torrent finishes".

Could you add an option "Run this program when ALL torrents have finished", please?

Up to now this is not possible.

What is a chance is to make a .bat file, where you first run utorrent and then your wanted program. In utorrent you specify to exit utorrent when all torrents have finished - done.

Über eine BAT-Datei beides zu starten und "µTorrent" nach Beendigung aller Downloads automatisch beenden zu lassen , wäre sicherlich ein möglicher Weg. Allerdings stören mich an diesem "Work-around" mehrere Gesichtspunkte:

1. es funktioniert nur, wenn man die BAT-Datei selbst ausführt - ich rufe aber oft auch torrent-Dateien direkt aus dem Internet auf, wobei bei mir "µTorrent" mit deren Datei-Erweitertung verknüpft ist und dadurch automatisch gestartet wird

2. BAT-Dateien laufen in einem gesonderten Fenster ab, ich möchte aber weitestgehend alles "im Hintergrund" regeln, ohne dass der User etwas davon mitbekommt

3. passt nicht zur Vorgehensweise bei meinem besonderen Vorhaben (das stört mich am meisten!)

Zu Punkt 3 muss ich etwas weiter ausholen:

Was ich gerne tun möchte, ist folgendes: sind alle Torrents fertig heruntergeladen, soll der PC in den Ruhezustand versetzt werden, es sei denn, der PC ist in diesem Moment anderweitig beschäftigt, z. B. brennt gerade eine CD, ich schaue einen Film an oder spiele ein Spiel. Ich habe das provisorisch für EINEN Torrent so lösen können, dass ich über den Punkt "Run this program when a torrent finishes" ein Makro starte, welches anhand des Titels des aktuell aktiven (d. h. des im Vordergrund befindlichen) Programmfensters prüft, ob es sich dabei um  "µTorrent" handelt: trifft dies zu, wird aus meinem Makro heraus der Ruhezustand eingeleitet, ansonsten eben nicht. Das Makro-Tool heisst übrigens "GroundControl", mit dem kann man so ziemlich ALLES automatisieren...

Was mir also wirklich gelegen käme wäre, wenn es auch noch eine Option "Run this program when ALL torrents have finished" gäbe, über die ich mein Makro starten lassen könnte. Vielleicht kannst Du Dich ja doch noch erbarmen, so etwas einzubauen? Das wäre sehr freundlich von Dir!

Okay, here is my translation for my previous posting:

First at all, thank you for giving me the idea of running both from a BAT-file and using "Quit when everything completes", which surely could be done. But there are several aspects I dislike with this "Work-around":

1. this works only when running the BAT-file by yourself - but I'm frequently running torrent-file directly  from the internet and thus starting "µTorrent" by this way

2. BAT-files are running in a separate window, but I would like to "hide" this, so the user does not notice it at all

3. it doesn't comply with my intention of usage (this is the point that is annoying me the most!)

Regarding 3, what I would like to do is the following: When all torrents have been downloaded completely, my PC should go into hibernation, unless the computer is doing anything other right at this moment, like burning a CD, or I'm watching a movie or playing a game. Currently, I'm using the option "Run this program when a torrent finishes" to start a macro which determines the title of the active window (the program that is running in the foreground): if it is "µTorrent", then the macro hibernates the PC, and if not, it doesn't do that. The macro-tool is called "GoundControl", by the way, and easily automates a bunch of tasks on your computer...

It would be great if you could add the option "Run this program when ALL torrents have finished", so that I could run my macro file from it. Perhaps you could reconsider it! That would be very kindly!
