themov
I've added a few files into a torrent's download directory and chose "Force Re-Check". uT properly rescans the old previously downloaded files, but ignores the newly added ones. The only thing that it does do with them is add a .!ut extension. Process Monitor shows uT doing a whole lot of QueryOpens on the new files, but that's about it. The files are almost complete, so it's not a case of no valid blocks. Any idea why it doesn't rescan them properly?
themov
I think it's a bug related to scanning files that don't have any downloaded blocks yet, maybe combined with download priority set to "skip". It works when doing this: Start to download files that won't recheck (I waited until the actual files were created by uT, and not just blocks saved in ~uTorrentPartFile_123.dat) Stop the torrent Place the new files Force a recheck
PiusX
Sounds more like dead or fake torrents. Find better torrents....

themov
Would be nice to have an option to Force Recheck per file, not only per torrent. And the annoying bug/feature of creating adjacent files is still here: downloading only B of A B C sometimes leads to the creation and allocation of A and/or C. themov
Sure, they cross file boundaries. But that's what the DAT file is for.
