Invy
All the internets are going slow? Or just the internets in utorrent? This subforum is only for utorrent-related speeds help.
XYoukaiX
I have a similair problem ... with the new uTorrent version running i cannot do anything in the internet any more ... utorrent runs with 200kbs download and 30kbs upload without a problem like in the older versions but now i cannot open any webpages ... mostly it doesn't load and if it loads sometimes it takes hours ...and it can only be because of utorrent ... with the older version i could use the internet ... i have a router and my father can use the internet without any slow downs while i am downloading ... so it cannot be because of a slow connection ... Switeck
The latest µTorrent (v1.6) actually USES the half-open connection limit and regular connect speed maximums allowed. Previously in v1.5, µTorrent would only very rarely hit those maximums. So the v1.6 is a LOT more aggressive...and pushes many systems over the edge of stability.Chances are, it's a poor-quality software firewall or antivirus program. ...or virus/spyware! Firon
And a lot of people raised net.max_halfopen and had their tcpip.sys reverted, or never patched at all.
