set your down max to 114 kB/s and your up max to 34 kB/s. that's 80% of your max speed

How do you figure what 80% of a number is? I cant figuer 80% of my 345kb/s ? And why would you limit his Download?

 Yes, 11th grade math class and I cant do percents... IT just slips my mind rite now

1140 * 0.80 = 912

you both need to learn math

???? What??? You are making no sense! Is there anyone who can HELP. I keep coming up with ~276

276 is 80% from 345.

912 is 80% from 1140

wow, some of you guys REALLY jump the gun!!! I was assuming he's talking about 1140 Mbps (different than kB/s). if that is the case. then 1140 needs to be divided by 8 so that it's in the form of kB/s. Then 80% of it must be taken by multiplying it by .80. This can also be used for upload speed. If his down/up are in kB/s, then the first stage can be skipped. I CAN do math, don't point fingers.

heh, maybe you could calm down.

do you see the ":)" or not ?

cap it to around 30kB/s (if you meant 337 kbps) or 260 kB/s (if you meant 337 kB/s).
