wb640
The peer-list now (v1.1.7) shows always the full hostnames instead of IP-addresses. In previous versions this was optional. The DNS-names shown however, are not correct.I'm also using Newsleecher and four of the peers active for a torrentare shown as 'www.newsleecher.com'. It seems utorrent is alsousing the local (cached?) DNS-list instead of really resolving theIP-address ?I've seen this before in earlier versions of Utorrent.BTW, keep up the good work ! Keep Utorrent light-weight as it is nowbecause where Azureus uses almost 100Mb RAM and a lot of CPUutorrent (now) uses 10Mb and almost no CPU. Great ! chaosblade
It still is optional, right click the peer list and uncheck 'Resolve IPs'.Also, It never used my cache before, and always displayed correct addresses. I quite believe its a specific problem on your machine..
Martin
I have my DNS Client service disabled on my computer so that Windows doesn't cache and I've never experienced this problem.
