alex26
HI allI use utorrent 161 483 over 5 months. When I have downloaded songs and I listen, they are in good order(ok)from Explorer. When I apply Force Re Check, it begins to pull off it from new. Hashfails shows on them. If they play, why hashfails are.
SumiVano
You or your player software changes ID3 tags in the songs. Perhaps you correct names, reformat etc., this changes the file hash. You should either not modify the files and song information or make a copy you can change everything you want. And be aware: If you change files this way you spread corrupt parts to the people downloading from you!Sumi Vano
alex26
I do not understand why song play ok, since (because) hashfailed in this song. I apply WMplayer9. Summary - Song is OK (WMplayer). uTorrent shows hashfaill, and when I apply Force Re Check, delete all song from folder.
DreadWingKnight
Windows Media Player is one of the players that silently re-tags files.Changing tags doesn't actually change the playable part of a file.
