FreakyFish
I wonder if it's possible to make utorrent support more than one network interfaces? The request is probably not very common but, sometimes I use two interfaces and with such support I probably will be able to seed twice as fast than if I just used one. To make it possible today to use two interfaces from a server I use proxies bound to two different NICs. Is this something that has been discussed before? DreadWingKnight
It's not easy because of the problems that windows itself generates.
FreakyFish
Isn't it even possible to solve with an extra proxy-configuration?
DreadWingKnight
You have to set up the proxy to PROPERLY announce to trackers from both interfaces. Because of protocol issues, that is not an easy task. There is no clean way to get ANY bittorrent client to properly use 2 internet-connected network interfaces. Switeck
It's better to just run 2 separate clients on 2 computers on a LAN and have them linked together to each other but bound to separate internet links with different unique internet ips.
