marketman
I have had U torrent installed on my computer (OS Windows 2000) for some time now without any problems.Today I noticed the layout had changed, for some reason this has updated to Utorrent 1.6, now all i get is logger error messages "Error opening Windows Firewall: 0x80040154" and "Unable to map UPnP Port"I have looked at your FAQ and they were no help, so i looked at Microsofts website and found windows firewall is available for windows XP and not windows 2000, so i want the old version back, so i can finish my downloads, some of these are in the 90% area. DreadWingKnight
We don't support older versions. Period. Also, those errors are nonfatal. If all your software and hardware are properly configured, you should be fine.Updates do not remove torrents.
Switeck
Did you have auto update enabled in µTorrent? If you have a router, is µTorrent already port forwarded on it? (if so, disable UPnP in µTorrent.)

rgrossjr
Marketman,I am sorry you had trouble with your uTorrent client. Let me assure you that I have verified that the client could not have confirmed an update on its own. Either you or someone else must have unwittingly confirmed the upgrade, or some software auto-selected the OK button. I did confirm this question with product Engineering. It looks like your other questions have been answered. Thank you for using uTorrent.
