onceking
Microsoft has addressed this problem long before, but no one is mentioning this.Microsoft has provided Applocal to support software not support unicode like µtorrent.http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=8C4E8E0D-45D1-4D9B-B7C0-8430C1AC89AB&displaylang=enusage:install applocalerun µtorrent through applocale, choosing the language the torrent info is writtendone!! Ultima
That's only for displaying Unicode stuff. µTorrent still doesn't support Unicode internally, so it won't be able to write Unicode filenames, and some of the other bugs that are going to be fixed with Unicode support won't be fixed just by Applocale. Firon
Nope, eng and I tested it on IRC just a short while ago. uTorrent was able to load torrents named in unicode, and with unicode files inside. The files were saved with unicode names, too. It's a perfect stop-gap solution until ludde implements Unicode.

Firon
It's just a temporary workaround. Regardless of whether this trick worked or not, Unicode is going to get implemented.
zuhairmahd
Unless I'm missing something, it didn't work for me. I set the language for Arabic, and I still got the file name/volume error problem when the torrent started downloading.
