Twii Light Posted April 17, 2007 Report Posted April 17, 2007 I know you guys probably get this a lot, but I'm new, and rather clueless, so my question is, how exactly do I stop the torrents saying that the peer limit is reached? I can't seem to find any knick knack to tamper with so it won't keep saying this. Thanks in advance, and sorry if the answer to this is blareingly obvious.
Twii Light Posted April 17, 2007 Author Report Posted April 17, 2007 When I click on the General tab, I look at the "Tracker" box, and right underneath the Tracker URL, besides Tracker status, it says "Failure: access denied, peers limit reached"
DreadWingKnight Posted April 17, 2007 Report Posted April 17, 2007 Then it's time to choose a new place to get your torrents from.
Twii Light Posted April 18, 2007 Author Report Posted April 18, 2007 What do you mean by that? You mean changing the port? Won't that affect the others?
DreadWingKnight Posted April 18, 2007 Report Posted April 18, 2007 No.As in download torrents from a different site.
Switeck Posted April 18, 2007 Report Posted April 18, 2007 I think that means the TRACKER is overloaded with too many ips connecting to it. ITS peer limit is being overloaded, so it's sending out these peer limit notices to anyone trying to connect AFTER it is overloaded. All you can do if you're desperate for those torrents is try again later and run fewer torrents (to that tracker) at a time.
Twii Light Posted April 18, 2007 Author Report Posted April 18, 2007 Okay! Great, thanks for the help, guys, greatly accepted.
