Traditional p2p networks have to know your true IP so they know where to send you the data. A proxy can be used to "hide" your IP but in the end the proxy knows where you've been so you're not really "under the radar". And the speed sucks too, so you loose the best thing about bittorrent.Look at this reference on p2p networks that truely try to hide your IP by using encryption and other ingenious methods. There are different approaches being tried, check the list of clients. AntsP2P, MUTE, I2P are the most common I hear about. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
