10001idiotas
Becuase I get a lot of hash fails from Azureus-users, namely versions 2306 and 2402, i wanna ask, if it's possible to ban that version users manually. It's very depressing when your download acts like a jo-jo. Mabey it's not possible at all, but if you don't ask, you don't get answers.I hope someone can help me.Greetingz 10001idiotas
DreadWingKnight
Did you check to find out if they were all coming from repeated IP blocks?
10001idiotas
Yes. And I did find a solution. Normaly I allow 16 peers on a download and I was thinking when the program bans an IP, the program allows an other peer for downloading. So when the repeted hash fails starting I look in the logger to see what's going on. That's why I came with the Azureus because 9 out of 10 were Azureus users and a lot of them had an like simular IP number. I'll waited 'till there were only 2 IP's with almost the same name and set allowing peers to 6. After 2 hash fails the IP's were gone and I finished the DL without furter hash fails, but it slows de downloads very.
Switeck
Those are hostile ip ranges. You should block them in advance before they can trick µTorrent into thinking alot of OTHER ips are also sending bad pieces to you.
