agustan
Hi..i'm sorry if this is just an easy question since i'm just using utorrent today. My question is how can i get rid of the .torrent files from the application data? I don't want to keep track of what files i'm downloading though, so i can save some spaces.Thanks. chaosblade
He's talking about the copies that uTorrent makes of torrents. You cant not have those copies made, since uTorrent uses them to maintains the list. What you can do, is make sure you remove the torrent in a specific way:Instead of pressing the toolbar button (which only removes the torrent from the list) right click the torrent and select "delete Torrent" or delete data + Torrent". splintax
Ahh, okay.Instead of pressing the toolbar button (which only removes the torrent from the list) right click the torrent and select "delete Torrent" or delete data + Torrent".Is there a reason that this isn't the default action for the toolbar button. (Delete torrent, that is, not the data..)
ColdArmor
I wouldn't want it to delete torrent, sometimes I'll go back after a week or so an restart the torrent to start seeding again when seeders on that torrent get low.
splintax
OK then.. so why don't you just stop the torrent instead..?
