Firstly, I have read the FAQ, setup guide, done a search etc. I am a total noob to utorrent.

Just got it the other day. The first 2 files I searched for came up and downloaded fine (albeit a bit slow but I am used to that).

I have searched for some more and in the seeds column most are 0(0) so from reading this tells me that there are no seeds or peers.

What I would like to know is if I have to do anything now? Do I just wait around in the hope that someone comes along and has the file in their list?

Yes, you wait and pray someone shows up. Or you go and find another torrent for it, since often no one will show up.

And if the peers column has numbers other that 0(0) then it has peers.
