Large torrents causing computer crash

Everytime I seem to download a large torrent (over 3 gig i would say) my computer will at some point freeze. It just stops working alltogether and i have to push the reset button.

I am using Utorrent 1.6.1 and on a Pentium D 2.6ghz with 2gb ram.

Any help would be gratefully recieved

Upgrade to 1.7.2 and try again.

Process/services list from HijackThis. Consider testing your RAM with Memtest86+ as well.
