Change Stats?

I was made to re-install Utorrent, but then my statistics was reset, is there anyway I can change the statistics manually back to the numbers of GB I had downloaded, I do know the numbers...

No one... On Bitcomet I was able to edit the bitcomet.xml file to manually change the download ratio and stuff, but.. please tell me it's possible here too

I think I would be able to change it, since I've some programming skills if I only just know where Utorrent stores it.. If it's in the .exe file I'm out of luck. But that can't be possible, I've checked these files (C:\Users\TPIOM\AppData\Roaming\uTorrent) but.. found not what I was looking for.

EDIT: Or maybe, can't find a way to "hack" (yes I must) the dht.dat file... For the time being, I'll stick with Bitcomet until you guys make this easy to edit and a working installation, can't decide where to install it (stupid?)

It's in settings.dat, but I don't know what keys specifically.

I wouldn't recommend BitComet. They violate their own License and Privacy Policy and phone home with information about which torrent you are downloading without letting you know or giving you the option to disable it. They even admitted it and say its for a new comment feature.

I know it's the worst client, that's what I wanted to switch to utorrent, but the stats are important for me. I'm competing with a friend to get money, and for the viewing pleasure

Wait, how did you find that? I'm using envy's stats now, feels wrong.. but... I do not find my numbers in the settings.dat file

fd = Number of files added

rt = Total Running Time (seconds)

st = Program started

td = Total downloaded (bytes)

tu = Total Uploaded (bytes)

Not too difficult to figure out -- just compare the numbers from the statistics with the numbers you see in settings.dat :|

EDIT: No I don't, since my problem isn't still solved.. You can't edit the files, since the downloads shows wrong if you change these numbers, if shows correct in the statistic bar when you change but all the downloads become messed up, when I right click there it says "New Label..."

You're supposed to be hex-editing settings.dat while understanding how bencoding works. And I'm not really sure why old stats matter so much either, but oh well... *shrug*

Thanks, everything.. Exactly everything is solved now, I needed it for viewing pleasure and I'm competing with some friends for money, and I'd sure end dead last if I didn't kept my stats
