ajones81
ImageWhy is uTorrent showing that one torrent in the Inactive list when it is clearly Active and downloading merrily?
tomh
Why is that particular torrent is Forced [F]? What are the settings in your Preferences/Queueing/Queue settings? Are you using the Scheduler?
Firon
The list is only updated every once in a while to avoid torrents dropping in and out every second.
ajones81
@tomh: 2 active torrents, 1 active download, no scheduler. As you can see in the image, it's showing 24 inactive torrents out of 25. The single Active torrent is not forced, and one is, but it's part of the Inactive list for some reason.@Firon: Thanks for the info. Yup, the torrent did eventually move to the Active list. Do torrents set to force download but with no activity move to the Inactive list eventually? I suppose they might become Active too after a while if activity picks up?Anyway, it just seemed odd for a torrent set to force download, having seeds and peers connected and downloading at a fair clip to be included in the Inactive list for any length of time. BTW, what does "once in a while" mean exactly?
Firon
It's a certain number of seconds, but I can't remember off the top of my head. And forced won't affect whether it shows in active or inactive. Once it goes beyond 1kB/s and sustains that speed for long enough, it'll be moved to active.
