a123 Posted November 28, 2005 Report Posted November 28, 2005 is that possible for us to set which port each torrent file would listen.
Animorc Posted November 28, 2005 Report Posted November 28, 2005 Now what would be the reason for this? It only makes routerprotected clients more vulnerable to viruses and hacking-attempts and doesn't increase the speeds in any way. Please give an explanation to why we would want, If you do a good job of it, I might agree with you
DreadWingKnight Posted November 29, 2005 Report Posted November 29, 2005 Considering that all the clients that have this already are trying to get rid of it, I don't think this is a good idea.
churchi Posted November 29, 2005 Report Posted November 29, 2005 no i don't think this is good either. it can be very annoying to have to use more than one port, and usually on some secure networks you may only be able to find one port that is opened to use.as animorc said, we need a good readon for this. making use of all traffic using one port makes much more sence like Utorrent does now.
