Continous Crashing on Vista

Knowsknone

Recommended Posts

I have read the FAQ's and topics about crashes, and have done everything in there to the letter, on both of my PC's and I have yet to use uTorrent for more than 30-45minutes without a crash. I have no idea why it does it, and was hoping someone has had a similar BSOD problem...

Yes, I can, I just installed it though after reading the malware crashing problem... I think it has to do with my internet access point. I use Sprint Mobile broadband and I decided to do some trial and error and it only crashes the computer connected directly connected to the internet, not the computer running utorrent. The card uses USB, I think I read that USB drivers cause the crash. But I have the most up to date drivers, due to the fact I just installed a new motherboard.

I had a very similar problem and I had the most current drivers. My Blue Screens were always DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. I switched from using the USB port to the Ethernet connection on the same modem and the problem was solved. I suggest you try using the Ethernet connection.
