yusaku
When I was downloading a torrent , I got a power crash, and after rebooting, the working torrent and 2 inactive torrents disappeared from the uT client. How can I recover this. It's a huge amount of files, and now it all corrupted.
jewelisheaven
Err, first I would ask for you use the "category" pane (F7) at all? Can you check what section is currently selected, and try switching it to ALL?If the only problem was a power down, you may still have a recoverable resume.dat file (in the event that the category is not the problem). In the Logger tab does it say "loaded data file, failed keys, loaded keys, duplicate keys"?It is not necessarily corrupted data when the torrent was active during the power outage. It is possible with a faulty controller / incomplete powerdown sequence there may be completely blank data in your settings, or the last pieces for the torrent were not saved. On the other hand, if the problem was something with hardware (controller failure for example) there may be more damage than just your torrents. ajones81
How do you know the files themselves have been corrupted? You can try reloading the same torrents, pointing them to the same download directories as before, force re-checking and then restarting them. That should work and hopefully, you won't have lost much data.
