If you're planning to run them simultaneously (very few legitimate reasons for that IMO), make doubly sure they aren't fighting to listen on the same port, and that your hardware/connection can actually handle the combined load (even a single aggressive client like uTorrent is enough to overload most crappy hardware/connections out there). Also the part about .torrent associations as jewel pointed out above.BTW, why have two different clients installed, when you can simultaneously run two copies of the best torrent client ever - uTorrent?! jewelisheaven Posted January 6, 2008 Report Share Posted January 6, 2008 now now, beating the dead horse is uncouth. tom8 I would recommend reading the µManual and FAQ if you want to keep two torrent clients (one for seeding, and one for downloading) because well.. as ajones81 says, uT is the best. If you're trying to migrate old seeded/downloading torrents from the old client to the new one, be sure to http://utorrent.com/setup_guide.php your uT on the connection, then try using http://www.utorrent.com/migration_guide.php and feel free to ask questions if you are stuck on a step. That indicates a problem with your browser and not BitTorrent 6 interfering. BTW, the BitTorrent client is now based on uTorrent, though I guess that's reason enough to go right to the source of the new features and switch to the latter.
