Ultima
Try removing utorrent.lng from %appdata%\uTorrent and/or the µTorrent executable directory.
jewelisheaven
...or renaming it to utorrent.language and restart uT (not sure if restart is necessary)... but yea if uT cant find the alternate languages file there's no penchant for language selection. Was te loaded language Chinese by chance? If so this is the 2nd reported instance of that on here.
extrarule
"Try removing utorrent.lng from %appdata%\uTorrent and/or the µTorrent executable directory."I did not find the "utorrent.lan" file that I'm supposed to delete. I tried searching my hard drive but it turned out negative, there is no file with that name on my computer. I dont know how is this possible that's why I'm looking for help.and regarding jew's question about the language: no it's not Chinese.looking forward to reading your replies, guys. jewelisheaven
... AFAIK unless uT has the utorrent.lng (really a ZIP of all the translated strings) in it, the display language should be english... Have you modified your display settings font to something non-standard.. I think Tahoma and Trebuchet MS are standard...

What language is it displaying as? If you can't tell a picture of the Preferences pane may help.
