HX_unbanned
The main thing is that applications forms ( Im programmer in Borland Delphi ) color is not applied correctly with this form and it is something like very light gray, but Royale Theme's color is white. Please fix this or give me source to fix this by my self. With best wishesHX_unbanned.From EU, Latvia. jewelisheaven
? Start again from the beginning. You are using the default Windows MCE style (royale) and what part isn't blue.. screenshots help IMMENSELY.
Ultima
I'm guessing he means the tab control having a gray background rather than white. I asked Ryan about this a while ago, but I don't think he ever responded. In the end, the only places that "need" to look white on the tab control would be the top of the General tab (or Transfer tab if you're using 1.8) and some parts of the Speed tab. On every other tab, the background is covered (either by a listview, the scrolling container). It's not really limited to Royale.
jewelisheaven
If it relates to the 3D objects, that's unrelated to both the style and the application. It's the display settings (Personzalize in Vista)
Ultima
Nope, it's not the same as the 3D Objects color. You'll notice the background behind "Downloaded" and "Availability" isn't white like in the file/folder properties dialog is. Ryan Norton
Ahhh, I see.... it should be transparent.....
HX_unbanned
Yep, Ultima got the point. Still its annoying problem. Probobly there should be some other WinAPI routines used to fix this one... I guess .. This soft is written on C++ Builder or Borland C++ ? Ultima
EnableThemeDialogTexture, to be exact.µTorrent is built using VC++. At any rate, it's been fixed for the next build.
jewelisheaven
Which build is that, I don't think it was fixed in 8235.
Ultima
Whatever build the next build is going to be...?
jewelisheaven
How do you check if it's "fixed" without running royale? There's no personalize/advanced option for transparent dialogs, or dialogs at all for that matter.
Ultima
Any non-Classic Windows theme will do; you'll notice I wasn't using Royale either in my screenshot (it was the Zune theme).
jewelisheaven
Yeah, i've been looking :/ but I don't seem to get it. Heh yeah searching for MCE 2005 royale theme got me where I wanted to go. I thought they updated it for MCE 2007 but I guess I was wrong. I'm checking out zune and it's beta (royale noir)... I didn't know .msstyles were CSS ><
Ultima
Royale Noir was an unreleased/"incomplete" version of the Zune theme (or maybe you know that already? Your "it's" is throwing me off ). And yeah, there is no advanced option for changing this color.Question, though... what are you looking for...? O_o This tab issue isn't something µTorrent too deeply concerns itself with with regards to color -- it just lets Windows handle the color/themeing with EnableThemeDialogTexture (again, for the next build -- whenever that gets released ).When Ryan mentioned transparent, he was probably referring to the controls on the tab, like labels and such (that their backgrounds needed to be transparent). jewelisheaven
ahh yea, I was playing with a new private build trying to see the difference. I haven't changed off my "make alternate line colouring work" theme yet, so things are all sorts of pastel and grey... Sorry my fingers do the walking sometimes and commas and apostraphies get interspersed. My favourite has to be the grave though `.In any case, I wasn't ever concerned with this in uT, as I thought the backpane looked fine especially on Transfer since well... it is a scrollable-- and not FLAT-- dialog. Slowly things are being added, and progress is always nice What am I looking for?? Why the Ultima-te Question of course.
Ultima
I agree that the scrolling areas should probably be left alone with regards to color, but Ryan didn't agree I'll wait until a public release to see about bugging him again (I haven't been around enough to bother him lately ).
