jangona
I've been downloading successfully for about a week. Yesterday, I noticed I was only spordically downloading at .1 kb, but higher for uploads. I updated the program to 1.7.7, and it made no difference. I disabled my AT&T Security suite firewall incase that was the problem, but that made no difference either. Can anyone give me suggestions so I can get back to downloading? Thanks
jewelisheaven
Test with OpenOffice yet? http://distribution.openoffice.org/p2p/ You only need to run it for a minute or two to check your sustained download throughput. What is the availability of the torrent? Does AVAILABILITY*100 = Downloaded %? If so then you cannot download more without a seed joining.
jangona
Yes, I just tried to download openoffice, but was unable to start the download.Last night, I noticed that if I went into preferences, and selected "random port", it worked. But, this morning, it is back to not working again, and I tried to change the port several times, with no success. The uploads are working very well. Switeck
If OpenOffice works but other torrents don't, it's probably due to the other torrents being slow or bad in some way. (Fakes, poisoned, no seeds, peers stuck at same percentage, etc...)
