Im an idiot and set the .load to all my torrents

is there any way to change the file type back to .torrent?? i already tried typing .torrent at the end and all that but no luck. did i just lose all my upload ability?

Torrents are stored in http://xrl.us/TorrentStorage .LOADED torrents are copies of them and can be deleted.. or you can set uT to do this for you by checking "delete don't move" option below the Ctrl-P -> Other auto-load folder option.

copy the location where .torrent.loaded files are in Explorer

start, run, command prompt

type:

cd then right click, edit paste

so it should look something like this:

cd c:\program files\utorrent

then type:

ren *.torrent.loaded *.torrent

that will change all your .torrent.loaded files to .torrent

but if uT still has auto-load on... then you will STILL have them as .LOADED right after.

If you want to keep the .torrent extension, move them out of the auto-load folder first

I think µTorrent would actually try to reload the .torrent file again if you renamed .loaded files back to .torrent in-place (equally undesirable). So yeah, you'll need to move the files out of the auto-load directory before doing anything with them.

i disabled the auto load, thank you very much. but it still says error after i renamed them.
