markes12344
im just wondering if the total amount downloaded vs uploaded affects the speed of the download. because i was downloading a file at about 40kbs and thats my average for most files, and uploading at about 20kbs then all of a sudden the download and upload dropped to about 8kbs download and 13kbs upload... for any torrent i try.when i go to show statistics it says:Total Uploaded: 46.9GBTotal Downloaded : 114GBTotal Ratio: 0.409so does the download vs upload affect the speed. if so should i stop all downloads and seed for awhile. getting my uploads up more than downloads? jewelisheaven
If it was sudden it could just be your ISP... shaping profiles at a certain time or after certain bandwidth usage. Testing with the OpenOffice or Slackware test torrents will verify if you're still able to download @ your expected speed.
