aguka
Hi! I'm using Vista+Firefox+uTorrent 1.7.7 build 8179, I'm connectable with proper ports forwarding. When I'm trying to download files from tracker using SSL I'm receiving "Error 12057", downloading from the trackers without SSL is ok. SSL certificate for the tracker is properly installed in Firefox, maybe I should change something in my uTorrent properties? Please help!
jewelisheaven
Hrmm... http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa383770.aspx says Indicates that revocation cannot be checked because the revocation server was offline (equivalent to CRYPT_E_REVOCATION_OFFLINE). so it definitely sounds like something with the certificate. aguka
thanx, Firon, it helps! Just a little bit strange that IE options are affecting uTorrent, cause I'm not using IE at all... but anyway it now works! Thanks!
Firon
The reason IE options affect it is because we use the built-in Windows functions for SSL. These functions are controlled by IE's options (even if they aren't strictly IE features).
