uT auto-bans your LOCALHOST:port and LAN IP:port because of "duplicate id". this is normal and nothing to worry about.

thank you ive been having troubles with the trackers they've been showing offline most of the time. i've had utorrent for a couple of years and never done this before. havent changed any settings. there working for few minutes than offline for about half hour. even on the ones ive uploaded

If it's temporarily timing out that sounds like you're overloading the connection at those times. Have you changed your Ctrl-P -> Advanced net.max_halfopen? As long as the tracker announces correctly and it's intermittent it doesn't sound like a problem. It mayu seem like the tracker is offline for a half-hour because that's the default timeframe to announces.

on my old coputer i changed my hlfopen not on this i cant because with the card i have will over flow a buffer.im only running 3 torrents with low peers. the icon will go from red to green. it started couple days ago ran spy and virus. even the tacker i have ancount with does it

If it switches between the nat status icon without you doing anything it means it's out of your control. You may try lowering the Ctrl-P -> Connections numbers for per-torrent and global peers, perhaps it is triggering something from your ISP which does this. Does it happen at the same time each day?

mornings is where its the worst it has stayed red for over an hour. like right know seems to be fine. its strange because ive used this program for a long time with no problems and i didnt change anything and it just started one morning. ive wonder if its the isp. i did have a problem with them reporting me for what i was downloading

now i stay away from new releases and stick to older and have no problem with being reported

What are the steps to do this?

I have used uTorrent for a couple of years ; just upgraded to 1.7.7 on one of my two PC's. Now, the program keeps banning MY ip on all torrents. This stops the downloads dead in their tracks. Torrent speed or number of seed/peers/tracker makes no difference. My other PC (separate machine/modem/provider) works fine.

The only change on the effected system is that I loaded 1.7.7.

Well, you find out your computer's LAN ip (typically something like 192.168.x.x) and your computer's WAN/internet ip and add them to ipfilter.dat file (it's pure text, like an *.txt file -- create it if it doesn't exist) and save the file. Then tell uTorrent to reload the ipfilter.dat

You may need to restart uTorrent if your computer's internet and LAN ips have already been banned by uTorrent.

Do note if you EVER intend to share your ipfilter.dat file with someone else, you'll need to remove your WAN internet ip...or everyone who uses that ipfilter.dat file will be blocking you!
