Hi i got optimum online. modem dpx2203 and the router linksys wrt54g connected together running windows vista.. my downloads in uTorent dont go up than 1kb/s same with my uploads... my speed is 7605kb/s DOWNLOADS and 1457kb/s UPLOADS... also uTorrent kinda blocks my browser (mozilla, IE) and dont let me open it till i close uTorrent and wait like 10 minutes... can someone help me here??? thx

First i did the setup guide everithing worked fine with the test torrents ya put the for download it was downloading around 400-500kb/s but any other file i put to download dont go up that much just around 5 kb/s...

Also did the internet guide and didnt work either...

How about the Speed Guide settings? Have you tried lowering net.max_halfopen to 2? DHT and IP resolving disabled?

IP resolving can be disabled via the Peers tab context menu. Regarding your connection speed...

Be sure that you aren't using your connection for any other reason besides testing, while testing. That means no downloading, no IMing, no µTorrent running, no browser activity (other than the testing), etc. Additionally, no other computer on your network (if any) should be using the connection. When you select a testing mirror, use the ones that are geographically closest to you.

Repeat this several times, and tell us the average of the results. Additionally...

a) get HijackThis from trendsecure.com, run it, view the log, and post the contents here

get Process Explorer from sysinternals.com, run it, Ctrl+D (to show the lower DLL pane), select the µTorrent process from the list, Ctrl+S (and save the list somewhere you'll find easily -- like the Desktop), then post the contents of the saved process list in the .txt file here

I thought Optonline had those huge 10Mbit pipes?? Or did they cripple them once they realized back in 2003 they were the big sharers on p2p ><

In any case, if you wouldn't mind copy-pasting the logfiles in the thread, like Ultima asked it would be appreciated. The files are small enough to fit into a post.

With your current upload < 1Mbit, perhaps if you try cutting that in half... does your internet seem responsive?

Try uninstalling FastCache temporarily -- we can't be sure whether it's stalling for whatever reason, since it seems to sit between µTorrent and the internet. As for the Roxio UPnP stuff... can you try disabling UPnP in µTorrent (if you haven't already done so) to make sure they're not being stupid?

Uninstall at least ONE version of that Roxio EZ CD Creator. You only need either 9 or 10, not both

New logs with those disabled please. Nothing is injected into uT which is good.

Also, stupid question but what version of NOD is that?
