cor1947
I'm just fedup... Version 1.7.7 gave at least an orange icon for port-connection, Version 1.8 (advised in this forum) makes it red.... and yes, the router is configured correctly, and no, I have no further firewall, and yes, I have Norman virus control set to stop internet protection...µTorrent... appears to be just hopeless. I'm going to try Bittorent, for worse it really can't get..
DreadWingKnight
A lot of internet security software is stupid. Many of them tend to assume that new versions of old programs need to be blocked.Additionally, Norman has had a somewhat bad history with its interactions with uTorrent.http://utorrent.com/setup_guide.phphttp://utorrent.com/faq.php#I_get_very_high_CPU_use_when_running_.C2.B5Torrent.21The number of posts you've made suggests that you haven't even bothered trying basic troubleshooting. Firon
Norman causes high CPU usage, crashes, and will block utorrent silently whenever you upgrade. You can solve the crashes by following these instructions: http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?pid=330864#p330864As for the red issue, you'll have to remove and recreate any exceptions in Norman for utorrent.
