BVG
This new uTorrent that was released today/yeasterday dont work, I mean I can open it and such but when I add a torrent file, it wont start downloading. Why is this? My settings have not changed. It says max 25 active downloads but I cant have it, only 3D/Ls which I added when I had the old utorrent version. This is some serios bug, I tried to download a older version but the link was dead. DreadWingKnight
What version of NOD32?
Firon
You need to disable NOD32's IMON. There's a bug in it that corrupts all HTTP announces.

Firon
Go into the NOD32 config and recreate any exceptions for utorrent. In addition, in the web browser list under HTTP settings, make sure that utorrent is UNchecked.
Dr8ct0pu8
I use Comodo, and AVG Free 8.0, and my µTorrent won't open. At all. And whenever I try to download and install an older version [1.7.7], it freezes. [Not the whole computer, just the explorer window I'm using.] The utorrent.com website even gives me problems. Is it because I just installed Service Pack 3 a few days ago?
Firon
Try uninstalling Comodo, rebooting, downloading the latest version and reinstalling.
Ultima
If Comodo was the issue, then you may want to consider disabling the Defense+ component. It's probably excessively difficult to configure for many/most users (I never bothered trying it).
